About David

Born and raised in Southern California, David Armstrong has had a 40-year career in the film industry as a cinematographer and director. He is the author of the historical biography “Dragons and Violins: A Memoir of War and Music,” chronicling the turbulent, incredible early 20th-century life of his beloved Assyrian immigrant grandfather.

He holds a BFA from the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) and an MFA from the American Film Institute (AFI). His background in high-level visual arts brings a unique, highly developed mastery of focus, perception, and observing subtle shifts in environment and energy.

With an insatiably curious mind, along his 25-year journey to holistically improve his own health David unexpectedly discovered he was able to assess and identify his own and others’ health issues at their root cause, eventually realizing he also had an extraordinary ability to communicate with a body on an energetic level to heal itself. He embarked on an ongoing journey to develop his skill, consulting and collaborating with health practitioners, therapists, spiritual thinkers, and even a physicist to expand his knowledge of physiology and psychology and the mind/body connection, as well as energy on a quantum level, to maximize his effectiveness.

Amid decades of creative endeavors and extensive travel, he’s found his most profound sense of purpose in helping to improve people’s and pets’ health and lives.
