I call Dave the "Dog Whisperer!" When our beautiful four month old puppy started chewing his paws and losing hair, we took him to our vet. They proclaimed him to have mange and a skin infection. Very strange, since he had been extremely healthy with beautiful skin and fur from the day we picked him up at 9 weeks old. The vet asked if he was eating a high quality puppy chow. They prescribed shampoos and pills. Several days later a friend came to my home and saw Buddy, when I told her what the veterinarian’s health plan was, she said "that's not right, you need to speak to Dave, my special healing friend!"

 

I took pictures of Buddy and his patches of hair loss and she sent them to him. Within a day, I received a detailed plan and a thorough explanation of what Dave's evaluation revealed. No skin infection! No mange! Buddy had serious stomach, digestion and liver issues exacerbated by the foods and snacks he was eating, all causing inflammation and distress to his weak system. Dave outlined with precision the food and supplements Buddy was to receive. No treats without Dave approval!! Within several weeks Buddy was literally a renewed puppy. Hair and skin healthy, he was energetic, focused and eager to please. Dave checked in with us multiple times and made suggestions for training treats and any supplement or food changes! It really was an astonishing transformation.

 

Months later, as Buddy grew and his chewing habits escalated I chose a deer antler for him to gnaw from a highly regarded healthy pet store. Buddy loved it! He could gnaw and scrape the marrow from the antler. Buddy started having serious gastric issues, runny stools, bloating etc. I immediately reached out to Dave. He asked about his food, about every snack and chew toy. I sent pictures of everything. When Dave saw the deer antler he knew it immediately to be the culprit!!! The gritty marrow caused serious gastric upset in many dogs! Adding some vitamin E oil to his food should do the trick and of course, he was right!!! I'm so very grateful to have Dave as a trusted advisor and a friend!!
